This guide will help you confidently navigate the Goals section within the Scorecard Editor to set, track, and refine business performance targets.

Step 1: Accessing Goals

1. Find the Scorecard Editor

From your AI Growth Advisor dashboard, go to the Scorecard section.

2. Click Edit Tab

Select an existing scorecard or create a new one by clicking the Edit tab.

Step 3: Setting Goals

Add a New Goal

In the Scorecard Editor, use the Objective field to enter the name or description of your goal.

Use AI Assistance

Click Get help from AI to generate goal suggestions. You can select and edit any suggestions based on your business context.

Metric Setup Options

Choose how you'd like to define the metric used to track the goal:

• Library – Select from pre-built, commonly used metrics

• Normalization – Adjust values for comparison across locations (e.g., revenue per square foot)

• Custom – Create your own metric based on your business logic

• Calculated – Use formulas to compute values using multiple fields

Note: All metric definitions and adjustments are managed by you. AI Growth Advisor provides suggestions, but nothing is applied without your input.

Set a Goal Value

Enter a target number or value in the Goal field that represents what success looks like.

Advanced Goal Setup

Click Advanced Goal Setup to define thresholds, comparison periods, or custom labels for more detailed goal tracking.

Step 4: Tracking Goals

Monitor Progress

Once a goal is set, you can monitor progress from the Scorecard Overview page.

Real-Time Updates

As your connected data sources sync, your goal progress updates dynamically based on the most recent available data.

Use the Progress Bar

Each goal includes a visual progress bar to help you quickly assess how close you are to reaching your target.

Step 5: Celebrating Achievements

Celebrate Success

When a goal is reached, it will be marked as completed inside AI Growth Advisor.
