Account Authentication in AI Growth Advisor: Step-by-Step Guide

Keeping your AI Growth Advisor account secure is our top priority. Here’s how our authentication process works, from setup to recovery, to help you log in safely every time.

1. Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Step 1: Download an Authenticator App

• Install an authenticator app (like Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator) on your mobile device.

• Links for iPhone and Android are provided directly in the setup screen.

Step 2: Connect the App

• In AI Growth Advisor, you’ll see a QR code and a setup key.

• Scan the QR code with your authenticator app, or manually enter the setup key.
  

Step 3: Confirm Setup

• Your app will start generating 6-digit verification codes for AI Growth Advisor.

• Enter the current code from your app into the Authenticator code field in AI Growth Advisor and click Verify Code.

2. Logging in with Two-Factor Authentication

Step 1: Log In with Email and Password

• Enter your email and password as usual.

Step 2: Enter Your Authenticator Code

• When prompted, open your authenticator app and enter the latest 6-digit code into AI Growth Advisor.

• Click Verify to access your account.

What if you can’t access your authenticator device?

• Click the link to log in with a recovery code.
  

3. Using Recovery Codes

Step 1: Save Your Recovery Codes

• When you set up 2FA, AI Growth Advisor provides you with a list of one-time-use recovery codes.

• Copy these codes and store them in a secure place.
  (You’ll need them if you ever lose access to your authenticator app.)
  

Step 2: Log in with a Recovery Code (if needed)

• On the 2FA prompt, select log in with a recovery code.

• Enter one of your saved codes and click Recover.

• You’ll regain access to your account.

Tip: 
Each recovery code can only be used once. After using a code, remove it from your saved list.

4. Troubleshooting and Tips

• Lost Your Authenticator App?
  Use a recovery code to log in, then reset your 2FA settings from your profile.

• No Recovery Codes Saved?
  Contact AI Growth Advisor support for further assistance regaining account access.

• Security Reminder:
  Never share your recovery codes or authenticator setup key with anyone.
